Resolve a Newsletter blockage
This guide explains why sending an Infomaniak Newsletter might be blocked and how to proceed with sending it.
Why block the sending of a newsletter?
As a Mail host and provider of a newsletter service, Infomaniak must take all necessary measures to prevent abuse of spam.
Please be aware of the following measures:
- The sending of a newsletter may be blocked if too many recipient email addresses are invalid
- The sending of a newsletter may be blocked if the SPAM rate is too high
- After a blockage, it is necessary to contact Infomaniak support to be able to complete the blocked sending
How to avoid being blocked?
- Use only contact lists that you have built yourself
- Build your contact lists with double opt-in forms
- Remove contacts you haven't emailed in over 6 months; less-used contact lists are more likely to contain outdated email addresses
- If needed, automatically clean your subscriber lists with services like NeverBounce, Bounceless, or QuickEmailVerification
