Enable the anti-spam and / or advertising filter
Thank you for choosing Infomaniak to manage the sending and reception of your emails! This guide explains how to enable the anti-spam and / or advertising filtering for an email address managed by Infomaniak.
Once the filter is enabled, spam is moved to a folder and automatically deleted after 15 days.
Enabled the filter via Email Service
- Log in to your Infomaniak space (manager.infomaniak.com)
- Go to
Email Service
- Click on the Email Service/domain name concerned
- On the Email Service dashboard, click on the email address concerned
- Click on the Filters and rules tab or on Filters and rules
via the left-hand side menu
- The Infomaniak spam filter is enabled by default, click on the
/
icon to enable or disable these filters
Once the filter is enabled, spam is moved to a folder and then deleted automatically after 15 days.
Enable the filter via Mail
- Open Mail (mail.infomaniak.com)
- Click on the
at the top right
- Select the Email address menu
- In Actions on my address, click on the
Security icon
- Enable the spam and/or advertising filter
If you don't have access...
- Check that you have a valid access to Mail with which the email address is associated
- Do you have the permission to manage this setting? If you were invited to Mail to manage your email address, the Email Service administrator may have withdrawn this right when sending the invitation (find out more (click here)
Enhance the effectiveness of the anti-spam filter
You can increase the effectiveness of the anti-spam filter by defining unwanted messages as Spam via your Mail.
- Open Mail (mail.infomaniak.com)
- If necessary, link an email address to Mail
- Open the unwanted message
- Click on the
Spam
button
Customise the filter
You can refine the filtering process using the Filters tool or the block/authorise lists.
