Restore deleted emails
This guide explains how to restore, free of charge, the content of an email box from one of the past 6 or 7 days (we store 7 back-ups, 7 "snap shots" of the mailbox).
Please note: restoration of the backup email does not include the calendar or the address book.
How it works
Only messages that no longer exit when you request restoration will be returned to their original location. All the messages received during this 7-day back-up period will be kept.
certain settings linked to your email address will also be restored if they have changed in the meantime, in particular the "auto-reply" and "forward” parts.
Warning: if you usually check your inbox using the POP/POP3 protocol, you will not be able to restore everything as the back-up occurs once a day; it only stores messages which were present at the time of the back-up, but not those already collected or the messages sent folder. In the future, you should therefore favour the IMAP protocol in your webmail software.
