Creating / adding / deleting an email address
This guide explains how to create an email address for yourself, for another person or for several people. All the more reasons why you should manage your email address with Infomaniak!
To avoid using the invitation system and simply create a WorkSpace account via the email address and its password:
Creating the email address for yourself
- Log in to your Infomaniak account
- Go to Mail Hosting
- Click the hosting/domain name concerned
- Under Email addresses, click the blue Create button
- Enter the following information
- Indicate your last name and first name
- The email address of your choice (mail@your-domain.com)
- The password of your choice
- Click Confirm
- Choose to access your email via your Workspace (recommended) or use our configuration wizard to view your email address on another device / software
Creating the email address for another user
- Log in to your Infomaniak account
- Go to Mail Hosting
- Click the hosting/domain name concerned
- Under Email addresses, click the blue Create button
- Enter the following information
- Indicate the user's last name and first name
- The email address of your choice (mail@your-domain.com)
- The password is set by the user
- Click Confirm
- Invite the user to create an account or configure only the email address
- Select the method used to send the invitation: email, SMS, link
WARNING: if the user does not link their email address to a Workspace account, they will not be able to modify the email address password. They will have to do so via the owner or an administrator of the account on which the email is hosted.

Creating the email address for several users
- Log in to your Infomaniak account
- Go to Mail Hosting
- Click the hosting/domain name concerned
- Under Email addresses, click the blue Create button
- Enter the following information
- The email address of your choice (mail@your-domain.com)
- The password of your choice
- Click Confirm
- Invite the user to create an account
- Select the method used to send the invitation: email, SMS, link

Inviting a user to use an email address that has already been created
- Log in to your Infomaniak account
- Go to Mail Hosting
- Click the hosting/domain name concerned
- Under Email addresses, Click the WorkSpace tab (in the left side pane)
- If required, enter the password
- Set the rights the user will have in their WorkSpace (permission to manage signatures, aliases, auto-reply, etc.)
- Enter the email of the user who will receive the invitation or carefully note the short URL proposed
- At the end of the procedure, an email is sent on your behalf with a link to confirm the invitation

To delete an email address
- Log in to your Infomaniak account
- Go to Mail Hosting
- Click the hosting/domain name concerned
- Under Email addresses, click the 3 vertical dots to the right of the email address and then click Delete
