Fix a DNS problem (Newsletter)
This guide pertains to the configuration of the Infomaniak Newsletter product in cases where the domain name used for sending your emails is not managed by Infomaniak.
Specific DNS Configuration
For the automatic use of the Newsletter tool, it is necessary to manage the domain name from which you send your newsletters (as well as its DNS zone) with Infomaniak. For example, if you send your newsletters from the address news@domain.xyz, the domain domain.xyz must be managed by Infomaniak.
In order to use the Newsletter tool with a domain not managed by Infomaniak, you will need to add specific entries to your DNS zone, which we will provide to you through your Manager:
You can follow this guide (click here) to add DNS entries that mention ._domainkey. Make sure to choose a DKIM type initially, and then the CNAME subtype when adding the DKIM.
In Case of Outgoing Domain Transfer
If the domain name currently managed by Infomaniak (associated with the Newsletter) is transferred to another registrar, the Newsletter tool will be disabled within 30 days if no corresponding DNS modifications are made.
