Getting Started Guide: Renewal Warranty
This guide explains how to activate or deactivate the Renewal Warranty option for Infomaniak products. This feature helps ensure you avoid any service cuts in case the product has not been renewed on time.
The Renewal Warranty is an additional security measure to ensure the continuity of your products in the event that you have not been able to renew the products on time or that a automatic renewal would not have worked. Infomaniak will renew the products for you and issue an invoice that you will find in your account.
Availability of Renewal Warranty
This option is available upon order (except for Synology NAS product) or after purchase for the following products:
- Domain name
- Web Hosting
- Mail Service (follow this guide)
- Cloud Server
- Swiss Backup
- kDrive
- NAS Synology
- SSL Certificates
Enable or disable the Renewal Warranty option
In general:
- open the Manager (manager.infomaniak.com)
- go to the product on which you want to activate the Renewal Warranty option
- enable or disable the Renewal Warranty option in the Information tab

For kDrive:
- open kDrive (kdrive.infomaniak.com)
- in the left side menu, click on the action menu
to the right of the name of your kDrive
- choose Dashboard
- at the top of the page you will find the option Renewal Warranty
