MariaDB replaces MySQL!

- MariaDB has a larger connection pool supporting up to 200,000+ connections, whereas MySQL has a smaller connection pool.

Replace MySQL by Maria DB
Upgrading to MariaDB is irreversible and all the sites of your hosting will subsequently operate with this version of MariaDB. We recommend that you check the compatibility of your scripts before continuing (find out more).
To migrate a web hosting to MariaDB:
- open the Manager (manager.infomaniak.com)
- go to Web hosting
- if necessary, click on the hosting/domain name concerned
- in the left-hand side panel, click on Databases
- click on the Migrate to MariaDB 10.4

To migrate a managed Cloud server to a MariaDB version:
- open the Manager (manager.infomaniak.com)
- go to Cloud Server
- if necessary, click on the Cloud server concerned
- in the left-and side panel, click on MySQL
- follow the instructions concerning migration to a new generation of Cloud server
