This guide explains how to migrate a MySQL web hosting to MariaDB

MariaDB replaces MySQL!

Replace MySQL by Maria DB

To migrate a web hosting to MariaDB:

1. open the Manager (manager.infomaniak.com)
2. go to Web hosting
3. if necessary, click on the hosting/domain name concerned
4. in the left-hand side panel, click on Databases
5. click on the Migrate to MariaDB 10.4

To migrate a managed Cloud server to a MariaDB version:

1. open the Manager (manager.infomaniak.com)
2. go to Cloud Server
   
3. if necessary, click on the Cloud server concerned
4. in the left-and side panel, click on MySQL
5. follow the instructions concerning migration to a new generation of Cloud server
