Manage Streaming Radio Introductions
You have the possibility to have the stream started in the listener by a jingle or an introductory announcement. You need to load an MP3 file from your hard drive, directly from your Manager You have a field for this below the stream to which you want to add an intro. This only works with your radio streams in MP3 format (so the field is not displayed below AAC streams). All listeners who connect to the streaming server will hear the intro before they can access live streaming.
The first time you load an MP3 as an introductory file, you will have to wait until the next day before playing a stream is preceded by this MP3. On the other hand, once the MP3 file is loaded, you will be able to load a new one, and the result will be audible after a few minutes already.
This intro should not last more than 15 seconds, preferably, so that listeners are not forced to wait too long before accessing the real streaming. Make sure that the intro MP3 file you created has exactly the same bitrate (kbps), sample rate (kHz) and mode (mono/stereo) as your usual streaming.
