Manage Site Creator navigation menu(s)
This guide details the use of menus in Site Creator.
The different navigation menus
The different pages that make up your site can be accessed within one or more navigation menus .:
- open the Manager (manager.infomaniak.com)
- go to Web Hosting
- if necessary click on the hosting/domain name concerned
- in the left side menu click on Site Creator
- click on Customize my site
Once in Site Creator:
- in the left side menu click on the button Settings
- by default the list of your pages appears, classified in 2 main sections: MAIN MENU and LEGAL
But you can add more.
These menus with the pages they contain are then included in different places on your site depending on the chosen theme.
You will often find the main menu placed at the top of the page:
and the other menus will automatically be offered in the footer:
Add new menu
Once in Site Creator:
- in the left side menu click on the button Settings
- hover over a menu title in the existing tree
- click on the "+" icon that appears on hover:

Once in Site Creator:
- in the left side menu click on the button Settings
- hover over a menu title in the existing tree
- click on the gear icon that appears on hover
You can manage his presence in the site map or delete it (and all of its pages).
Menu Styles
Once in Site Creator:
- in the left side menu click on the button Design
- click Menu Editor
In particular, you can decide on the location of your menus (on the left of the page or placed at the top, fixed or mobile, "hamburger menu" type on the right or normal, etc.) and completely change the predefined style thanks to the themes at the very top of the submenu:

You can define a menu that should always be attached to the top edge (with different visual options):
- in the left side menu click on the Design button
- click on Menu Editor
- click on Primary account holder
- in the Type of menu box, choose In the header
- lower enable Fixed at top
- click save
or use a pre-made menu design with the necessary settings to be fixed:
- in the left side menu click on the Design button
- click on Menu Editor
- click on Menu Templates
Menus #3 and #16 have this functionality by default.
Additional top menu
To display a "menu bar" at the very top of your page:
- in the left side menu click on the button Design
- click More Settings
- enable the Header Menu Bar
Once activated you can customize it using the Settings link in the same place.

Create a sub-element in a menu
Once in Site Creator:
- in the left side menu click on the button Settings
- the list of your pages appears
With the mouse you can move a page slightly to the right under another page:
She will become a so us-page and your menu on the site will be able to display the tree structure thus created:
You can also choose not to make the first item of such a menu clickable:
- click the Settings button in the left sidebar
- click General Settings to change this setting under Submenu Options

Insert your menus in the body of the page
A Sub-page menu module allows you to insert your menus and sub-menus at n anywhere on your page.
The site map module displays all the menus and all your pages in a single block.
Set page URL
By default if the name of your page is "Contact" then the URL to reach it will be "www.domain.xyz/contact".
If you later change the name of the page to "Contact Us" then the URL will be "www.domain.xyz/contact-us".
To set the custom URL of the page you are on:
- in the left side menu click on the button Settings
- click on SEO & Metadataunder Settings on this subpage
The first field at the top allows you to define the address of the page. Any space will be hyphenated and special characters, accents, symbols, etc. are to be avoided.
If URL changes are saved during site creation while a menu already contains a link to the page in question, it will be dynamically adapted .
