Partnership: Different Types of Access
This guide explains the differences between the two possible types of access between a Partner and their Client, to understand when you wish to start a partnership.
Limited Access
With this choice:
- the Client
- grants their Partner access specifically to certain products
- can have multiple Partners with limited access to their organization as long as they manage different products
- the Partner
- manages only the products assigned by the Client
- cannot order and renew products for their Client
- earns revenue when the Client makes purchases or renews products managed by the Partner
Full Access
With this choice:
- the Client
- grants their Partner access to all their products
- can have only one Partner with full access to their organization
- the Partner
- can order and renew products for their Client
- earns revenue for any product order or renewal
- the Client & the Partner can define which payment methods will be used for orders and renewals
The type of authorization granted to the Partner can be changed at any time, and only by the Client.
