Web hosting: blocking risky URLs
This guide explains how to add IP addresses to your web hosting’s whitelist in order to access URLs that are blocked by default because they are deemed to be risky.
These blocks are effective on all our recent servers.
Adding IP addresses to the xmlrpc.php whitelist
- Log in to your Infomaniak space (manager. infomaniak.com)
- Go to Web hosting
- Select the web hosting / domain name concerned
- From the rectangle Site, click on the website concerned
- In the central rectangle, click on the blue button Advanced Parameters
- Select the tab Apache
- From the field xmlrpc.php whitelist, add the IP addresses to be authorised
- Click on the blue button Save
For security reasons, Wordpress’s XML-RPC feature is only available by default via Infomaniak services and the JetPack plugin.
