Displaying PHP errors
This guide shows how to modify the error-reporting() command.
Enabling error reporting on your site
Indicate the 2 following pieces of information in your .user.ini file:
display_errors=on
error_reporting=E_ALL & ~E_NOTICE & ~E_STRICT
error_reporting=E_ALL & ~E_NOTICE & ~E_STRICT
For our old hosting offers, the following command must be placed in your .htaccess file:
php_flag display_errors On
If your browser does not show an error or a warning, it is because there are none.
To disable the display of PHP errors on a site
Paste the following code in a PHP file:
display_errors(false);
Otherwise, you have to add the following code in the .user.ini file :
display_errors=off
