Servers in load balancing
For a broadcast without limits, even during significant audience spikes, we have twenty load-balanced servers dedicated to receiving and broadcasting audio and video streams.
At the slightest stream interruption, an engineer is alerted by pager on-call 24/7 to restore the proper functioning of the service. An email is automatically sent to the customer to inform them of this.
With streaming audio and live video, radio and TV stations now have a virtually unlimited broadcasting space. Infomaniak offers unparalleled broadcast quality, without failures or interruptions, even during coverage of live events (games, concerts, debates). Additionally, our infrastructure has been developed to absorb heavy audience spikes.
The servers managing radio streaming are installed in our secure, highly efficient datacenter. They are connected by 2 dark fibers of 20 GB each, allowing traffic spikes of up to 40 Gbits.
Reliability and availability
To ensure a broadcast free of breakdowns or outages, our network and technical infrastructures include multiple security systems.
2 broadcast servers
(live-broadcasters) including 1 backup use LINUX HA technology (http://linux-ha.org) to carry out a switch in case of failure (Fail over) for live-broadcasters and load balancing for live-reflectors.
10 Wowza servers in
allow the broadcasting of streams on the customer side and divide it to viewers in different streams. A routine has been integrated to rule out all risk of network attacks.
