This guide explains how to broadcast a live video simultaneously on the Infomaniak streaming platform and Facebook Live.

Prerequisites

• Enable the Simulcast option:
  1. Click here to access the management of your product on the Infomaniak Manager (need help?).
  2. Click directly on the name assigned to the product in question.
  3. Click on Settings in the left-hand menu.
  4. Click on Options in the left-hand menu.
  5. Subscribe to the Simulcast option by clicking the ACTIVATE button.

Broadcast a video on Infomaniak and Facebook

To do this:

1. Click here to access the management of your product on the Infomaniak Manager (need help?).
2. Click directly on the name assigned to the product in question.
3. Click on Settings in the left-hand menu.
4. Click on Options in the left-hand menu.
5. Click on Configure in the Simulcast box.
6. Click on Add.
7. Choose Facebook Live.
8. Choose a name for the simulcast and connect to the Facebook account that manages your page.
9. Accept the terms and click on Add:
   
10. The live broadcast on Facebook will be available after 30 seconds on the selected page.

In case of a problem

• Despite the visibility type defined in the simulcast options, it may happen that the internal Facebook configuration overrides the chosen setting. In this case, it is necessary to modify the following setting in the Facebook options:
  
• Please note that the stream will be sent directly to Facebook when you add it. If you want to schedule the simulcast:
  • Disable the Enable this simulcast option when adding a simulcast.
  • Use the scheduling tool to define your desired times.
• The simulcast is automatically stopped at the end of the broadcast. You have two options to restart the simulcast:
  • Enable the simulcast from the configuration of this option (see the procedure explained above).
  • Schedule another event using the scheduling tool.
