Manage a .lu domain name
This guide details the administrative steps required to transfer the management of a .lu domain to Infomaniak.
Transfer a .lu domain
Transferring a domain in .lu does not require a transfer code; instead, a validation email will be sent to the domain administrator (indicated in the WHOIS contact information) to validate the transfer to Infomaniak.
The domain owner then has 15 days to validate the transfer; otherwise, the transfer will fail.
Once the request is validated, the transfer is almost immediate.
Please note that, due to the specific process for transferring .lu domains, failed requests cannot be refunded. Any new attempt will be charged as a new transfer.
