Support for Adobe Flash Media Live Encoder
It is possible to use the streaming server application Adobe Flash Media Live Encoder with our video broadcast solution.
Video streaming from a webcam connected to the computer
The AAC codec is no longer included with this application and you must download it separately (e.g. the demo version)
If you wish to learn more about the use of this software, we strongly advise you to visit the official forum. Here is a list of the most frequent issues:
Unable to connect to server
Check that the stream names and addresses are correct. If you continue to experience this issue, check your network settings, in particular any firewalls. It is sometimes necessary to explicitly open port 1935.
No sound available
Check the selected audio input. It is sometimes necessary to go into the device configuration (the "spanner" icon to the right) and choose the correct audio input for the device in question.
Connection issues may occasionally be caused by the encoder being unable to transmit the data fast enough. It therefore gradually lags further and further behind, which can be annoying. To avoid this type of issue, the autoadjust field allows you to specify a maximum permitted delay.
Black bands across the video
Depending on the video source, black bands may appear across the video. It is best to remove these by editing the "crop" parameters.
