This guide explains how to exercise your rights regarding personal data protection, in accordance with the Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

 

Exercising your FADP and GDPR rights

What are the data protection rights?

In accordance with the Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Right of access: obtain confirmation that data concerning you is being processed and access this data.
  • Right to rectification: have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected.
  • Right to erasure: request the deletion of your data in certain cases.
  • Right to restriction of processing: restrict the processing of your data.
  • Right to data portability: receive your data in a structured and machine-readable format.
  • Right to object: object to the processing of your data for legitimate reasons.

How to exercise your rights

To exercise any of these rights, please contact the Data Protection Officer (DPO):

Your request must include the following information:

  • your complete contact details: first name, last name, and email address associated with your Infomaniak account;
  • the right you wish to exercise;
  • any information useful for identifying your data, for example, the domain name, customer ID, or service concerned.
