This guide explains how to delete a website from a Web Hosting account.

Introduction

• Once removed, the website will no longer be accessible on the internet at its previous URL.
• The website quota available on your hosting account will be freed up.

Removing a website from a paid Web Hosting account

To access your Web Hosting accounts and remove a website:

1. Click here to access the management of your hosting account on the Infomaniak Manager (need help?).
2. Click directly on the name assigned to the hosting account in question:
   
3. Click on the action menu ⋮ to the right of the website in question in the table that appears.
4. Click on Remove the website:
   

Unlinking a website from a free Starter hosting account

A Starter hosting account (basic web page) contains only one website, which is specific to the domain name itself. Therefore, it is not possible, as with paid plans, to have multiple websites or remove a website to add another.

You must therefore cancel the Starter hosting account directly:

• This will cancel only your Starter Web Hosting product, i.e., the part concerning your website, without affecting other products, such as email or domain name.
• You must confirm the cancellation request by email; otherwise, no data will be deleted.
• A cancellation confirmation is sent to any other administrators of the Organization.
• Backups will be permanently deleted upon cancellation, making any restoration impossible.

To cancel:

1. Click here to access the management of your web hosting on the Infomaniak Manager (need help?).
2. Click on the action menu ⋮ located to the right of the web hosting in question.
3. Select the Cancel option:
