Resolve a configuration issue with Thunderbird (email, contacts & calendars)

Are you no longer able to receive or send emails? Are you experiencing synchronization errors with your contacts and calendars? Follow the instructions in this guide to delete problematic accounts and reconfigure them correctly.
Preamble
- The various services offered by Infomaniak are all compatible with the corresponding standard protocols (IMAP/SMTP for email, for example), therefore if you encounter a problem with third-party software, contact its publisher or a Partner and consult the support policy as well as article 11.9 of the Infomaniak TOS.
- Follow these instructions only to delete an email account configured in IMAP (and not in POP3). Learn more
Delete the email address
To do this:
- Open Thunderbird.
- Right-click on the email address to delete and select Settings.
- Go to Account Management.
- Select Delete the account and click Delete

Delete contacts (in CardBook)
Everything is now integrated into Thunderbird, but if you still have an old version (which you must update):
- Open Thunderbird.
- From CardBook select the contact profile to delete.
- Click on the three-line horizontal menu button ☰ at the top left of the interface, then on Address Book, and on Delete Address Book.
- Confirm by clicking OK.

Delete the calendar / agenda (in Lightning)
Everything is now integrated into Thunderbird, but if you still have an old version (which you must update):
- Open Thunderbird.
- From Lightning select the agenda profile to delete.
- Right-click on the agenda and select Unsubscribe from the agenda.
- Confirm by clicking OK.
