Confirmation of receipt when sending from Mail

This guide explains how to enable or disable read receipt requests from Infomaniak Mail.
Requesting a Read Receipt
Read receipt and/or delivery confirmation requests are compatible with most email systems, but they still depend on the recipient's actions and their email client's settings. Receiving (or not receiving) a read receipt confirmation does not guarantee anything.
To enable your recipient to easily confirm the successful receipt of your email sent from Mail:
- Open Mail (mail.infomaniak.com).
- Click on the icon at the top right.
- Choose General.
- In the Sending section, check or uncheck the Read Receipt option.
- Click Save at the bottom.
Note that you can also activate it on a case-by-case basis when composing your message in Mail. Click on â‹® in the composition options and select the appropriate option:
Requesting a Receipt for the Message
If you receive an email and view it on Mail, and the sender has specifically requested to be notified, you can request a receipt for the message when reading it:
