Actions to be carried out
Log into your Webmail
Go to Advanced Options (Fig. 1, pt. 1) to the right beneath the recipient field, email subject, etc.
Enable the option by clicking Request Delivery Receipt (Fig. 1, pt. 2)
To have this option enabled by default, go to (Fig. 2):
My Preferences -> Webmail tab -> Send and Receive -> Delivery Receipts
