Configure DynDNS for Qnap
This guide explains how to access a Qnap NAS connected to the Internet with a dynamic IP address via a domain name.

Prerequisites
- Have a Qnap NAS connected to the Internet with a dynamic IP address
- A dynamic DNS must have been created on the domain concerned
Link a Qnap NAS to a domain name
- Open the Qnap NAS management interface
- Go to Network & Virtual Switch
- Under Access Services > DDNS , click Add
- Provide the following information:
- DDNS Server: Custom
- Profile name: Infomaniak (or whatever)
- User name: the identifier defined in the Infomaniak Manager when adding Dynamic DNS ( help )
- Password: the password defined in the Infomaniak Manager when adding the Dynamic DNS ( help )
- Host name: the URL configured in the Infomaniak Manager when adding the Dynamic DNS ( help )
- URL :https://infomaniak.com/nic/update?hostname=%HOST%&myip=%IP%
- Click Apply
