Flexible pricing

Jelastic Cloud offers a flexible pricing model that adapts to all types of usage:

• Your PaaS resources are provisioned with granular units, called Cloudlets: the power of your environments is determined by the number of Cloudlets you allocate to them, with one Cloudlet providing 128 MB of RAM and 400 MHz of CPU.
• Automatic vertical and horizontal scaling of resources guarantees you the best performance for your applications without having to pay for unused resources.
• By consuming Cloudlets, you automatically benefit from discounts of up to 65%.

Difference between Reserved and Dynamic Cloudlets

When creating a container, you can choose to allocate reserved and dynamic Cloudlets to your environment:

• Reserved Cloudlets are resources that are always available; they are more cost-effective than dynamic Cloudlets, but they are billed independently of their usage.
• Dynamic Cloudlets are resources that become active during peak usage; they are only billed when used and according to your rules.

If you are unable to estimate the resources you need, it is recommended to start with a limited number of Cloudlets and adjust your configuration later. The 14-day trial period also allows you to assess your needs without any commitment.
