Disable two-step validation (2FA)
This guide explains how to disable two-factor authentication, also known as two-factor authentication (2FA) or two-step verification (2FA) for logging into the Infomaniak Manager.
For security reasons, Infomaniak technical support cannot disable two-step verification on behalf of customers.
Disable Two-Step Verification
If 2FA is enabled and you want to disable it:
Attention, if you were using the SMS authentication method, once disabled, you can only re-enable this method if you are domiciled in CH / FR / BE / DE. Outside of these countries, you will need to use kAuth or any OTP application.
- log in to the page manager.infomaniak.com/2fa
- click on the Delete button
- enter the connection password
In Case of Problems
Obviously, the above procedure requires logging in one last time with two-factor authentication, and then being able to disable it (not recommended).
If you do not have access to the kAuth application or the device that receives the validation SMS, start the login and then click on "Choose another authentication method".
Follow the procedure until you obtain kCheck (authenticated sending of identity documents):
