This guide explains how to migrate an existing Infomaniak Web Hosting to the current Web Hosting offer. By following this procedure, all the content of your hosting will be erased and you will be able to create a completely new site with WordPress, Site Creator or one of the Web applications.

Start the migration procedure

To do this:

1. Start the migration procedure.
2. Do not check the box Retrieve files and databases.
3. Click on the Next button.

Create a new site

It is very simple to recreate a website:

• Create a website with WordPress
• Create a website with Site Creator
• Install a Web Application (Joomla, Drupal, ownCloud, etc.)

If your domain name is not managed by Infomaniak or if it is in a different Organization than the one concerned by the site:

• Modify the pointing (A type records) to specify the new IP address of your site.
