This guide explains how to migrate an existing Infomaniak web hosting account to the current Web Hosting offer. By following this procedure, all the content of your hosting account will be deleted, and you will be able to create a brand new website with WordPress, Site Creator, or one of the web applications.

Starting the migration procedure

To do this:

1. Start the migration process.
2. Do not check the Recover files and databases box.
3. Click the Next button.

Create a new website

It is very easy to recreate a website:

• Create a website with WordPress
• Create a website with Site Creator
• Install a Web Application (Joomla, Drupal, ownCloud, etc.)

If your domain name is not managed by Infomaniak or if it is in a different Organization than the website in question:

• Modify the DNS record (A record) to specify the new IP address for your website.
