This guide explains how to integrate into the Player VOD/AOD which is used to stream your video, an overlay button on the video that the viewer can click to easily share the video link (or embed the video itself) on social networks like Facebook or X (formerly Twitter).

Add a share link to the Player

To access the VOD space:

1. Click here to access the management of your product on the Infomaniak Manager (need help?).
2. Click directly on the name assigned to the relevant product.
3. Click on Players in the left sidebar.
4. Click on the relevant item in the displayed table.
5. Click on the Sharing Options tab:
   
6. Enable one or the other of the shares with the desired parameters, to see on the Player an icon of the arrow type representing the sharing possibility for the user:
   

Facebook

Allows you to specify a URL that will be automatically completed with 2 parameters:folder and file allowing the video owner to know that the visitor arriving on their site comes from Facebook and has clicked on a specific video.

If the VOD API is used, it is easy to create the link and display only the desired video, for example on a specific page depending on each source video.

X (ex-Twitter)

Allows you to specify the URL of a site, which will be automatically completed with 2 parameters in order to identify the video after redirection (folder=ID_FOLDER&file=ID_FILE).
