WorkSpace: sharing an agenda/calendar publicly
It is possible to "publish" a calendar. The data in your calendar will no longer be private.
Enabling public sharing
- Open your WorkSpace (workspace.infomaniak.com)
- Click the icon at the top right
- Select Calendar
- In the left sidebar, click the icon to the right of the calendar you want to share
- Select Share and then enable Public access
You will then be given a calendar-specific URL that enables you to download a .ics format file that iCal (Apple), iCalendar (Microsoft), Lightning (Mozilla) or Calendar (Google) will be able to read and use.
Some PHP scripts (not provided) also allow such files to be parsed, meaning for example that you can incorporate events into a website. We rely partly on the library at http://kigkonsult.se/iCalcreator/index.php, which works well and is well documented for standard use.
