This guide explains how to use the Gmail mobile app (application for iOS/Android smartphones or tablets) to access an email address hosted by Infomaniak.

• Instead of the manual configuration below, it is recommended to use the Infomaniak Mail app (iOS / Android) to benefit from Infomaniak's security features.

Using the Gmail mobile app for Infomaniak

Prerequisites

• Create the email address (❓: my kSuite | Mail Service/kSuite).
• Create a device password (❓: my kSuite | Mail/kSuite Service).
• Verify that the domain is configured correctly (❓: Mail/kSuite Service).

To add your Infomaniak email address via IMAP to your Gmail mobile app (official guide):

1. Go to Gmail Settings.
2. Tap Add account.
3. Choose Other:
   
4. Enter the email address you wish to use.
5. Choose the IMAP account type.
6. Enter the password (see prerequisites) for the email address:
   
7. Use the server name mail.infomaniak.com for:
   • Incoming IMAP server (receiving)
   • Outgoing SMTP server (sending)
8. Finish adding the address.
