Manage Mail Infomaniak notifications

This guide explains how to receive notifications for new emails using the Mail Infomaniak web app (online service ksuite.infomaniak.com/mail).

 

Introduction

  • The Infomaniak Mail web app is compatible with web browsers (Chrome, Firefox, etc.) that offer visual alerts when a new message arrives in the background.
  • The Infomaniak Mail mobile app (iOS / Android) also offers the possibility of using your mobile device's notification features.

 

Display a notification in the browser

To enable browser notifications when a new message arrives:

  1. Click here to access the Infomaniak Mail web app (online service ksuite.infomaniak.com/mail).
  2. Click on the Settings icon in the top right corner.
  3. Click on Browser in the left-hand menu.
  4. Activate the toggle switch to Display a notification when new emails are received:

To disable this feature, toggle the button off.You will also need to remove the notification permission directly in the browser (see its editor's documentation).

 

Allow browser notifications…

… on Safari

  1. Open Safari.
  2. Click on Preferences and select Websites, then Notifications.
  3. Find the ksuite.infomaniak.com/mail website and select Allow.

… on Firefox

  1. Open Firefox.
  2. Go to the main menu and select Preferences or Settings.
  3. Go to Privacy & Security in the left-hand panel.
  4. Scroll down to the Permissions section.
  5. Click on the Settings button to the right of Notifications.
  6. Find the ksuite.infomaniak.com/mail website and select Allow.

… on Google Chrome

  1. Open Google Chrome.
  2. Click on the More menu in the top right corner, then click Settings.
  3. Go to Privacy and Security, then click on Site Settings.
  4. Click on Notifications and choose to allow notifications:
    • Allow a site: next to the Allow option, click on Add. Enter the URL: https://ksuite.infomaniak.com/mail, then click on Add.

… on Microsoft Edge

  1. Open Microsoft Edge.
  2. Click on the menu in the top right corner, then click on Settings.
  3. Go to the Cookies and site permissions menu.
  4. Click on Notifications:
    • Allow a site: next to the Allow option, click on Add. Enter the URL: https://ksuite.infomaniak.com/mail, then click on Add.
