This guide provides important information when you activate DNS Fast Anycast and the DNS zone of your domain is not managed by Infomaniak.

• For example, you may be in the situation described above if your websites and email addresses are hosted elsewhere than with Infomaniak.
• For DNS Fast Anycast to work, it is necessary that the DNS zone of your domain is managed by Infomaniak.
• If you do not understand these instructions, refer to this other guide or contact your webmaster or other professional.

Activate DNS Fast Anycast with an external zone

Here are the steps to follow if your services are not hosted by Infomaniak:

1. Log in to your host's console and note all required records (A, MX, TXT, CNAME, etc.).
2. Use the Infomaniak DNS servers with your domain name.
3. Enter the records noted in the first step above to link your domain with your various services (websites, email addresses, etc.).
   • Any DNS addition/modification can take up to 48 hours to propagate.
