This guide explains how to import a calendar / agenda into the Infomaniak Web app Calendar (online service calendar.infomaniak.com for managing your events and appointments).

Preamble

• Refer to this other guide if you only want to display an Infomaniak calendar as read-only on Google Agenda (web & mobile app).
• Refer to this other guide to edit events on both calendars but only on the mobile version of the Google Agenda app.

Import a calendar via a URL

It is possible to display in **Calendar** an existing calendar managed externally. It will be automatically **updated every hour** via the URL you specify.

To do this:

1. Click here to access the Infomaniak Calendar web app (online service calendar.infomaniak.com).
2. Click on ‍ in the left sidebar.
3. Click on "From a URL":
   
4. Paste the URL of the calendar to import and check I want to subscribe to this agenda:
   
5. If necessary, choose the Organization into which the calendar will be imported.
6. Click on Import the calendar.

You can also go directly through one of the Organizations you are part of:

1. Click here to access the Web app Calendar Infomaniak (online service calendar.infomaniak.com).
2. Click on the action menu ⋮ to the right of the organization in the displayed table.
3. Click on "From a URL":
   

Link a Google calendar by its "secret" URL

The "secret" URL of a Google calendar, which you can paste in step 3 above, is found in the settings of the Google calendar:

1. Click on the action menu ⋮ to the right of the relevant Google calendar.
2. Click on Settings and sharing:
   
3. Scroll down the page until you reach the secret iCal URL and click on the icons to view and/or copy the URL:
   
4. Paste the URL according to the procedure in step 3 of the previous chapter above.

The calendar will be visible and will regularly display any updates made, but it will not be possible to edit it directly from the Infomaniak interface; this is a "one-way synchronization" with Google.

Import events via .ics file

To access Advanced Actions for importing, exporting, and restoring calendars:

1. Click here to access the Infomaniak Calendar web app (online service calendar.infomaniak.com).
2. Click on Advanced actions in the left sidebar.
3. Click on Import.
4. Upload the .ics file corresponding to the export performed from your previous provider:
   

You will be able to choose which existing calendar to import the events into or create a new agenda.

Export the data from the previous provider

Here are some indicative guides to export a third-party provider's calendar, which will allow you to re-import this data with Infomaniak:

• Outlook (section Publish > ICS link)
• Yahoo
• Proton
• Thunderbird
