Logging in via FTP when the DNS servers are not yet updated with a given IP address or with a temporary host name
With a conventional FTP client, should the domain's DNS record not point to our servers (for example if the domain name points to a previous hosting provider) you must use an IP address as the server name instead of ftp.domaine.xyz.
Actions to be carried out
Log into your control panel
Go to FTP -> FTP Configuration
Note down the IP address assigned to your hosting plan.
Specify this IP as the hostname in your FTP client
FTP login using an IP address Filezilla
If you have ordered the SSL option then the IP address is sent to you in an e-mail upon activation. You may also log into the getting started documentation in Step 4.
