Automatic SMS alert for a specific incoming e-mail
The SMS alert service provided by WorkSpace allows you to receive an SMS alert for incoming mail according to specific selection criteria.
A mobile phone number must have been specified in your contact details. You may instead send the alert to a different number to be specified. It is not possible to send the same SMS alert to more than one number, but several alerts can be set up and you may specify a different number each time.
The cost of the alert is similar to sending an SMS message manually from your phone. If you do not have sufficient credit, the SMS alert will cease to work.
To receive an SMS alert for all e-mails received in your inbox (not recommended), add "@" in the sender address field.
No SMS alerts will be sent where the e-mail address is for an Infomaniak discussion list. This is because mailing list messages go "directly" to the server (or MDA as it is called) and do not go via the servers that "filter" messages, and hence do not go through the SMS alert filter. This is a message routing issue which we cannot change. Once an e-mail arrives internally, if it is then re-routed (mailing list) it does not go back through the MX servers responsible for sending SMS messages etc.
