Choosing a secure password and making access as secure as possible

Choose a good password, comprising a combination of upper and lower case letters and digits, of between 6 and 80 characters (admin2 and e-mail accounts) chosen from among the following:
A simple-to-remember example: take the first letter of each word ("I was born on 14 Feb 72 = Iwbo14F72" or, as a more complex example, "I live at 6 Sun Avenue 72665 Appleton Springs = ila6SA72665AS").
Special characters are restricted for compatibility reasons.
Other minimum and maximum permitted lengths:
Directory protection: 6-12
A bad password comprises:
- 3 similar characters in a row
- 3 characters next to one in order or in reverse order (in the ASCII table, e.g.: 1234, abcd, fedc)
- the account name
- tabs, spaces, " or ', accented characters
- a first name or common noun (in whatever language, as dictionary attacks can find them in just a few seconds)
