This guide explains how to send and receive an email, where to find your sent and draft messages, and some tips for composing an email from the Mail Infomaniak Web interface mail.infomaniak.com. Other ways to check your mail are presented in this guide (click here).
Read your emails
Mail Infomaniak allows you to view the emails you have received, to do this:
- Log in to Mail Infomaniak (mail.infomaniak.com) from a web browser like Brave or Firefox
- Click on the icon in the left sidebar to go to your Inbox
- It is possible to manually check for new mail by clicking on the icon
Find your sent messages and drafts
From Mail Infomaniak, you can check the emails you have sent and revisit a draft message to finish it and send it, to do this:
- Log in to Mail Infomaniak (mail.infomaniak.com) from a web browser like Brave or Firefox
- Click on the icon in the left sidebar to display the list of Sent Messages
- Click on the icon in the left sidebar to display Drafts and resume their Composition and Send or Delete
- To delete a sent message or a draft from your mailbox, click on the icon above the selected email
Compose and send an email
Composing an email involves following these rules:
- Enter the recipient's email address in the field: To - you can add multiple recipients in this field
- In the Subject field, provide a subject for your email (it is not recommended to include brand names or strings of letters and numbers in the subject, as your email may be identified as SPAM by the recipient's email service)
- The CC and BCC fields allow you to add additional recipients:
- The CC field: leaves the list of message recipients visible to everyone
- The BCC field: hides the list of message recipients from everyone
To compose and send an email, follow these steps:
- Log in to Mail Infomaniak (mail.infomaniak.com) from a web browser like Brave or Firefox
- Click on the pink New message button in the left sidebar
- Enter the recipient's email address and a subject
- Compose your email
- Click on the Send button
