Manually configuring an email address and syncing contacts and calendars

This guide explains how to manually configure an email address and sync your Infomaniak contacts and calendars with the most common email software (Outlook, Microsoft 365, Thunderbird, Apple Mail, eM Client, etc.).

Manually configuring an email address

What system do you use?

• Windows
• Mac
• Linux
• iOS (iPhone, iPod, iPad)
• Android

General settings

• Incoming IMAP server = mail.infomaniak.com (POP not recommended)
• IMAP port = 993 with SSL if POP: 995 with SSL
• Outgoing SMTP server = mail.infomaniak.com
• SMTP  Port = 465 avec SSL/TLS
• Username  = full email address
• Password = the one you gave the email address in question (click here to check your password)
• Authentication = obligatory to send email. It is enabled via the SMTP settings of your email client. Tick "use the same settings as the incoming server" or, depending on the software, enter a username (= full email address) and its password
