Resolve kDrive blockages (antivirus, firewalls, etc.)
This guide explains how to resolve an access or usage issue with kDrive on Windows and macOS when third-party software may interfere with your synchronization.
Antivirus and/or Firewalls
Our kDrive application may sometimes encounter issues interacting with Windows or Mac firewalls, as well as antivirus or similar software. This can lead to the inability to synchronize files properly or use kDrive.
In case of a problem, you need to authorize kDrive within these applications and whitelist at least two essential components:
- kDrive.exe
- kDrive_client.exe
