Managing MySQL database users
With the read permissions, a user can only see the structure and content of a table, and so can perform SELECT type requests.
With the write permissions, he can modify the structure and content of the database in question.
With the administration permissions, he can delete it.
If the user has no permissions on a database, he won't see it appearing in phpMyAdmin.
