Linking a domain to a service such as Wix, Weebly, Tumblr...
This guide explains how to link a domain name managed at Infomaniak with a site created using a service like Wix or Weebly. This information is provided for explanatory purposes and Infomaniak does not offer support for services which we have not developed ourselves.
Generally speaking, services like Weebly or Wix do not allow you to publish content created on remote servers. The site is thus hosted with the service provider. To link a domain name managed by a registrar with a site created using a service like Weebly or Wix, there are generally three solutions:
- Point the domain name to the provider's servers (redirection of the A Record)
- Configure the DNSs of the domain name with those of the provider
- Transfer the management of the domain to the provider
