Error: "Warning: exec() has been disabled for security reasons in..."
You will encounter the error "Warning: exec() has been disabled for security reasons in..." because exec() is disabled in the Web hosting. On a shared hosting, you must find an alternative to the script editor that you are trying to use or employ another script that does not require the exec() function
This restriction is indicated in our General Terms and Conditions: "access to the following PHP function is disabled for security reasons: passthru(), set_timelimit(), popen(), exec(), shell_exec(), system() et proc_open()".
On a managed Cloud Server, it is possible to use exec(). Find out more.
