Is CURLOPT_FOLLOWLOCATION supported?
The Curl CURLOPT_FOLLOWLOCATION option cannot be used when open_basedir is active (this is the case with all our hostings on the old platform - consider migrating to our new platform to disable open_basedir).
Here is the type of resulting error message:
<code>Warning*: curl_setopt() [*function.curl-setopt*]: CURLOPT_FOLLOWLOCATION cannot be activated when in safe_mode or an open_basedir is set in */home/www/377c73425891c258d2274d/web/xxx/xx/Modules/HttpRequest.php* on line *178</code>
Here is the explanation: http://www.php.net/ChangeLog-5.php
<code>Disabled CURLOPT_FOLLOWLOCATION in curl when open_basedir or safe_mode are enabled.</code>
It is therefore not possible to disable CURLOPT_FOLLOWLOCATION because open_basedir can not be modified.
